Canada’s Muse Entertainment hires Alex Jordan for SVP, production role

Montreal-based production company Muse Entertainment has hired Alex Jordan as its senior VP of production.

Veteran producer Jordan, who recently completed production on the first season of Paramount+’s upcoming drama Mayer of Kingstown, will be based in Toronto and work closely with Muse’s president of production Irene Litinsky.

He will also work with the company’s development teams in Montreal, Toronto and Los Angeles to produce scripted programming across all genres and formats for the global market.

In addition to Mayor of Kingstown, Jordan recently worked on the feature film Between Waves, which was released theatrically over the summer.

Jordan’s other production credits includes season five of the Canadian detective drama Private Eyes and the action series Nikita, Transporter and Rogue.

Jordan’s hire comes two months after the Coroner (CBC) producer hired former Bell Media executive Tom Hastings as its VP of scripted.
