C5 signs Vanessa Feltz for daytime talkshow

NEWS IN BRIEF: Paramount-owned Channel 5 (C5) in the UK has commissioned a daytime television show fronted by one of the country’s most experienced broadcasters, Vanessa Feltz.

Produced by ITN Productions, Vanessa will begin airing on May 24 in a lunchtime weekday slot, with C5 hoping the show will provide viewers with “a much-needed haven from the relentless news agenda” with a focus on topics such as relationships, parenting, gossip and fashion. It was commissioned by Federico Ruiz, commissioning editor at C5.
