C5, FilmRise deal with World’s Most Dangerous Prisoners

True crime documentary series World’s Most Dangerous Prisoners

NEWS BRIEF: Paramount-owned Channel 5 in the UK and New York-based streaming company FilmRise have both snapped up true crime documentary series World’s Most Dangerous Prisoners, produced by UK indie Woodcut Media.

The 10×60’ factual series profiles dangerous offenders who continue to commit violent crimes while locked up behind bars. Executive producers are Koulla Anastasi and Matthew Gordon. Woodcut International is handling international sales and will shop the title at Mipcom in France next month. It will be re-titled World’s Most Evil Prisoners in the US.
