C5 bags BriteSpark trio

UK broadcaster Channel 5 has commissioned three unscripted titles from Argonon-owned UK production outfit BriteSpark Films.

The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys

The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys, How to Stop Your Nuisance Calls, and a sixth season of Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords have all been greenlit.

The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys (6×60’) is a six-part documentary series, telling the stories of six epic train journeys through the characters who travel, work and live near them, and narrated by Bill Nighy. It is executive produced by Tom Porter and series produced by Clare Fisher.

Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords (12×60’) will look at the dark side of Britain’s overstrained rental market. The series is executive produced by Nick Godwin and series produced by Stephanie Campbell.

How to Stop Your Nuisance Calls will investigate the scourge of cold-calling and examine the new robo-technology, which exacerbates people’s annoyance. Experts will help the public learn how to avoid being plagued by nuisance calls. It is executive produced by Tom Porter.

All titles will be distributed by TCB Media Rights.
