C5, Acorn investigate more Madame Blanc Mysteries

NEWS BRIEF: Paramount-owned Channel 5 in the UK and AMC Networks’ international SVoD service Acorn TV have greenlit a second season of crime drama The Madame Blanc Mysteries, which will include a Christmas special.

Clapperboard (Cold Call, The Teacher, The Holiday) and Saffron Cherry Productions (The World According to Grandpa) will coproduce the 7×60’ run, with Acorn Media Enterprises on board as international distributor. The series was ordered by Paul Testar, drama commissioning executive for Channel 5 and Paramount+.
