C4 orders festive special Dear Father Christmas

An all-star cast for C4’s Dear Father Christmas

NEWS BRIEF: Channel 4 in the UK has greenlit Dear Father Christmas (working title), a 75-minute festive special from Big Talk Studios and South Shore Productions.

The scripted project follows 16-year-old Chris (played by Lenny Rush) who refuses to give up on his belief in Santa and embarks on a madcap mission to prove to everyone, particularly his father, that he exists. In addition to Rush, the cast includes James Buckley, Greg Davies, Asim Chaudhry, Rochenda Sandall, Ele Mackenzie, Stephen Fry, Hannah Fry, Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock and Jason Fox. The project will air on Channel 4 on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
