Troy Deeney – Where’s My History?

NEWS BRIEF: UK commercially funded pubcaster Channel 4 has commissioned a one-off documentary about the teaching of black history in British schools fronted by Birmingham City Football Club striker Troy Deeney.

Troy Deeney – Where’s My History? (1×60’) is being produced by SBX Studios, the UK indie co-founded by boxer Anthony Joshua, who also features in the doc. Deeney is leading a campaign and lobbying politicians to make the teaching of black, Asian and minority ethnic histories and experiences mandatory in the school curriculum.
