C21 partners with Proimágenes to spotlight Colombia and boost BAM, Content Americas

C21Media, through its Spanish-language division Cveintiuno, has formed a strategic partnership with Proimágenes Colombia to strengthen the Bogotá Audiovisual Market (BAM) and Content Americas, and launch a new editorial initiative titled Colombia in Focus.

As part of the alliance, this year’s BAM – taking place in the Colombian capital from July 14 to 18 – will host three sessions coproduced with Cveintiuno.

Meanwhile, the 2026 edition of C21’s Content Americas event, scheduled for January 19-22 at the Hilton Miami Downtown, will feature an expanded presence of Colombian industry players through the support of Proimágenes, a non-profit dedicated to developing the country’s screen industry.

Proimágenes will also collaborate with Cveintiuno on Colombia in Focus, a print and digital special report to be distributed at Mipcom in October and Content London 2025, showcasing Colombian talent, stories and business opportunities to international buyers and partners.

Carlos Moreno

Carlos Moreno, head of international promotion at Proimágenes and director of BAM, said: “The alliance between BAM and C21 is key to identifying players in the region driving new business models aimed at increasing content circulation via broadcasters and digital platforms, while also encouraging regional coproduction.”

Fabricio Ferrara, director of business development at Cveintiuno, added: “Proimágenes is the perfect partner. We’re excited to be part of BAM this year – we’re working together on sessions and panels that cover every corner of the business, and connecting with the Colombian audiovisual scene like never before.”

To kick off the partnership, BAM will host three sessions coproduced with Cveintiuno and led by execs from Sony, Warner Bros Discovery, Zeta Studios, TIS Studios, Estudio RCN, Metro TV, Canal 4 (Uruguay), Hisense, OTTera, Vyco and others.
