Broadcasters double down on Forensic Files

NEWS BRIEF: RTL in Germany and Netherlands, CBS Reality in the UK, Antenna 3 in Spain, SBS in Belgium, Australian pay TV operator Foxtel, ETV in South Africa, Mediawan in France, TV4 Sweden and MTV Finland have all renewed their licences for new episodes of true crime doc series Forensic Files.

The series is distributed by co-creator Gary Lico through his GaryLico.TV and produced by CNN Productions. FilmRise has also renewed its worldwide licence for the series, following a summer premiere on HLN in the US. Production on special Forensic Files: Outrageous Clues, Alibis and Evidence is underway for 2023, and Lico will return to Mipcom in Cannes this month for the first time in 10 years to shop the show.
