Britain’s biggest family move to Channel 5

The Radfords in Channel 4’s 21 Kids & Counting

ViacomCBS-owned UK terrestrial Channel 5 will debut a show about the Radfords, aka Britain’s biggest family, later this month.

The Radford family – husband and wife Noel and Sue and their 22 children – have previously appeared in several shows on rival broadcaster Channel 4, first appearing in 2012’s 15 Kids & Counting.

Annual revisits have been made on C4 since, but the latest edition, titled 22 Kids & Counting, will air on C5.

Launching on February 22, the 4×60’ series is produced by Lion TV’s Nick Catliff, with C5’s Marcus Sulley as series producer.

Dan Louw, VP and commissioning editor for C55, said: “I’m delighted that the formidable Radford family will be making their new home on Channel 5. At a time when we’re spending more time than ever with our families, the Radfords are a lesson to all of us in how to overcome any problem with teamwork and a smile.”
