The Meaning Of (52×1′) is aimed at 4-8 year-olds and features three animated dogs who act out various scenarios to help kids to learn new words.

Luva is looking for US$290,000 funding for the short-form show and is seeking coproduction and pre-sales deals.

The Rio de Janeiro-based producer is also developing an associated app and website for the property.

Other shortlisted shows included BitKiz from France’s Dandeloo, and Charlotte & Frogson from Ladybug Animation in the US and Master Film Studio in Russia.

Last year’s competition was won by UK-based design agency Fourth Wall Creative, which is behind The Boy Who Switched Off The Sun from London’s Blue-Zoo Animation Studio.
