BoPaul merges sales with AMBI Distribution

US distributor BoPaul Media Worldwide has merged its foreign and domestic sales and marketing divisions with those of fellow LA-based firm AMBI Distribution.

The newly merged divisions will oversee sales of BoPaul’s 600-film catalogue, which includes vintage titles such as Porky’s, Hellraiser IV: Bloodline and the miniseries Mussolini: The Untold Story.

BoPaul’s sales team, which includes Susan Bender (Latin America), Monique Nayard (Europe/Eastern Europe) and owner and CEO Paul Rich, will work with AMBI’s team to distribute the catalogue.

Industry veteran Rich, who previously owned Trans Atlantic Entertainment and Bennett Media Worldwide and was head of worldwide distribution at De Laurentiis Entertainment and Metromedia Producers Corp, launched BoPaul in 2012.

AMBI Group specialises in feature film development, production, finance and distribution. It is wholly owned and operated by Andrea Iervolino and Monika Gomez del Camp Bacardi, Lady of Bayfield Hall, better known as Monika Bacardi. It also has offices in Toronto and Europe.
