Monchhichi is coproduced by Paris-based Technicolor Animation Productions and TF1 in collaboration with Sekiguchi.

The show first debuted in October 2017 on TF1 and became one of its top-performing shows. The series also had its Latin America debut in May this year on Discovery Kids.
