Bomanbridge adds Epic Indian scripted, unscripted content to sales slate

Royal Enfield – Brands of India

Singapore-based distributor Bomanbridge Media has added more than 500 hours of content from Indian TV channel Epic, owned by the In10 Media Network, to its international sales slate.

The partnership has already yielded its first sale: Australian channel SBS has bought one-off history documentary Royal Enfield – Brands of India, which will air later this year. The hour-long special charts the Indian upbringing of Royal Enfield, one of the most iconic motorcycle brands in history.

The deal gives Bomanbridge rights to both scripted and unscripted shows that focus on Indian history and culture, such as cooking show Raja Rasaoi Aur Anya Kahaniyaan and Indian army docuseries Regiment Diaries, which is already available on Netflix in the UK.

The two companies will also explore the idea of coproduction to increase their international trade.
