Bob Mortimer, Paul Whitehouse to go fishing again for BBC

NEWS BRIEF: BBC Factual has commissioned an eighth season of award-winning factual entertainment series Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing for BBC Two and iPlayer, with six new half-hours to be produced by Owl Power.

Described by the UK pubcaster as “one of the strongest brands on BBC Two,” the show expanded to eight episodes for the first time with its forthcoming seventh season, which is due to air later this year. Owl Power is the Greenbird Media-backed prodco that stars Paul Whitehouse and Bob Mortimer launched in 2017.
