A documentary series about the past 12 months in Ukraine, featuring exclusive interviews with president Volodymyr Zelensky, is among 450 hours of new programming that Canada’s Blue Ant International is taking to MipTV next month.

Citizens at War: A Year in Ukraine (6×60′) comes from Kyiv-based Film.UA and has been filmed at the frontlines of the resistance to Russia’s invasion, detailing the trauma and triumphs of Ukraine and its people.

Other content Blue Ant is shopping at the Cannes market includes Born to be King (1×60′), from Touchdown Films. Launching weeks before King Charles III’s coronation, it features archive footage to reveal the life, loves and passions of the monarch.

Dubai: Buying the Dream (6×60′) is a reality series from Angel Eye Media that follows a group of massively ambitious real estate agents as they sell properties in one of the most expensive property markets in the world.

Elsewhere, The Real Spies Among Friends (1×60′) has been made by Wingspan and aims to tell the real story behind recent ITVX drama series A Spy Among Friends; Bollywed (10×30′), from Hearthat Entertainment, follows a bridal shop in Toronto; and The Black Death with Dan Snow (2×60′) comes from History Hit and investigates how the plague devastated Britain 700 years ago.
