Bing prodco Acamar Films brings in Coolabi’s Tim Ricketts as COO and CFO

UK-based Acamar Films, the prodco behind hit animated kids’ series Bing, has hired former Coolabi Group exec Tim Ricketts as chief operating officer (COO) and chief financial officer (CFO).

Ricketts will be responsible for leading Acamar’s financial and operational strategy, ensuring the business is well positioned for sustainable growth and global expansion. He will report to Acamar Films’ CEO Mikael Shields.

Ricketts also held the roles of COO and CFO at Coolabi, from 2007 until last year, driving strategy, growth and international expansion.

He previously held senior finance and operational roles at media and entertainment companies including Gullane Entertainment, United News & Media and TVS Entertainment.
