Beta sells House of Promises, The Wall to int’l nets, shops full drama slate

German Neo-noir series Babylon Berlin is among the dramas on Beta’s Cannes slate

International broadcasters including Sweden’s SVT and Denmark’s DR have acquired drama series House of Promises, while networks including SBS in Australia have picked up drama The Wall, both from Beta.

As well as SVT and DR, Norway’s NRK, Finland’s YLE, Estonia’s ERR and Lithuania’s LRT have also acquired House of Promises (12×60’), while MBC in the Middle East has picked it up for its streaming service Shahid.

In addition to SBS, Spain’s Cosmopolitan TV has bought The Wall, while MBC has picked up season two for Shahid and NBCUniversal in France has acquired season three. The French-Canadian drama comes from Pixcom.

Beta is taking House of Promises and The Wall to Mipcom next week, on a slate of 25 drama series that also includes Sisi (12×60’), Babylon Berlin (40×60’), Professor T (12×60’), Hudson & Rex, Rapa (12×60’), Prison Island (6×60’), The Invisible Girl (8×60’) and Ultimatum (8×60’).
