Beta Film nabs int’l rights to Serbian thriller Operation Sabre

NEWS BRIEF: Germany’s Beta Film has picked up the international distribution rights to Serbian crime thriller Operation Sabre ahead of its world premiere in the Canneseries’ longform competition next month.

The 8×60’ project, produced by This and That Productions in coproduction with Agitprop for Radio Television of Serbia, is based on the real-life assassination of Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić in 2003.
