Beta contracts Helsinki Syndrome

NEWS BRIEF: German distributor Beta Film has come on board a Nordic thriller from the creator of Bordertown, Mikko Oikkonen, as global sales agent.

Produced by Fisher King for Finnish pubcaster YLE, Helsinki Syndrome (8×60’) follows Elias Karo (Vikings actor Peter Franzén) as he kidnaps four respected journalists to force them to reveal the corruption that ruined his family’s wealth and reputation and led to his father’s suicide.
