NEWS BRIEF: Paramount-owned US SVoD service BET+ has picked up South African sci-fi survival thriller Pulse from London-based distributor Abacus Media Rights.

The 6×60’ drama is produced by Media Musketeers and tells the story of an electromagnetic pulse that disables a secure building and disrupts the bio-electric signals in everyone’s minds, trapping a group of video game designers and turning each floor into a psychotic battlefield.
