Bell’s Crave orders Women’s Rugby World Cup docuseries from Boat Rocker

All Heart: Canada’s Women’s Rugby and the Quest for Rugby World Cup Glory

Bell Media-owned streamer Crave has ordered a docuseries following the Canadian women’s rugby team during their 2025 World Cup run.

The four-part project, All Heart: Canada’s Women’s Rugby and the Quest for Rugby World Cup Glory, will be produced by Boat Rocker Studios in partnership with Crave.

Executive producers on the project include Canadian actor and writer Jay Baruchel and rock band The Tragically Hip, which has been a long-time supporter of women’s sports.

Boat Rocker Studios’ David Fortier, Ivan Schneeberg and Todd Lubin are executive producers alongside director Kathleen Jayme (Naomi Osaka: The Second Set, Finding Big Country). Major retailer Canadian Tire Corporation is a presenting sponsor.

The docuseries will debut on Crave in 2026 and later on Bell Media-owned sports network TSN. Bell Media is the broadcast partner for the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, which concluded on Saturday with Canada losing to England.

The green light comes almost two months after Boat Rocker Studios was taken private by principals Fortier, Schneeberg and John Young.

Within a multi-faceted transaction, Blue Ant Media acquired three production companies from Boat Rocker – Insight Productions, Proper Television and Jam Filled Entertainment – as part of a reverse takeover. Much of the rest of the Boat Rocker business, its scripted, unscripted and kids and family studio units, as well as its distribution arm, was acquired by Fortier, Schneeberg and Young through their business entity IDJCo.
