Bell takes IFC comedy series

Canada’s Bell Media has picked up two IFC comedy series from compatriot distributor Tricon Films and Television.

The broadcaster will air Maron (23×30’) and The Birthday Boys (10×30’) as part of a deal for US cablenet IFC’s original series across its pay-TV and specialty platforms.

The shows will premiere on Bell’s speciality channel The Movie Network on March 6 at 21.00 and 21.30 (EST).

Tricon serves as the exclusive worldwide distributor of IFC’s slate of original scripted series.
