Bell Media’s Noovo hunts for The Ultimate Fan

NEWS BRIEF: Bell Media-owned Canadian network Noovo has commissioned a musical nostalgia format called The Ultimate Fan from Montreal-based prodco Pixcom.

The 10×60’ series will premiere this autumn, with the aim of it being rolled out internationally as a format. The show immerses the audience in the best popular music from recent decades via musical games that pit four stars against each other in each episode. Pixom’s Nicola Merola, president and exec producer, and Charles Lafortune, VP of development and exec producer, are behind the format.
