Bell Media strikes pact with US-Canadian comedian Tom Green to co-develop for CTV and Crave

Bell Media has struck a co-development deal with Canadian-American comedian, actor and filmmaker Tom Green and his production company to create original content for broadcaster CTV and streamer Crave.

The pact covers both scripted and unscripted projects, with specific projects to be announced in the coming months.

Green’s manager Rory Rosegarten will serve as an executive producer on all projects produced under the agreement.

Green has a longstanding relationship with Bell Media, having fronted The Tom Green Show and Tom Green’s House Tonight, in addition to co-starring in the Crave original comedy The Trades, which returns for its second season on March 14.

Bell Media has recently announced other deals with the likes of Seth Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures, Lionsgate and Elliot Page’s PageBoy Productions.

“Over the course of his legendary career, Tom has been a creative and comic visionary who has consistently seen around the corner to be ahead of his time,” said Stewart Johnston, senior VP of content and sales at Bell Media.
