Bell bags Dick’s Electric Dreams

Canada’s Bell Media has picked up three dramas for its Space and Bravo channels, including a show from the UK’s Channel 4.

Anthology series Philip K Dick’s Electric Dreams (10×60′) is produced and distributed by Sony Pictures Television and was commissioned by Jay Hunt, C4’s outgoing chief creative officer.

It joins family drama Life Sentence (13×60′) starring Lucy Hale on Bravo, while Space will air Superman prequel Krypton (13×60′) and Talking Trek, the companion show to CBS’s forthcoming Star Trek: Discovery.

Mike Cosentino, senior VP for content and programming, said the shows “are an example of the kind of hallmark exclusive programming that has helped define our industry-leading entertainment specialty channels.”

They’re the latest shows acquired by Bell, following its post-LA Screenings deals for The Big Bang Theory spin-off Young Sheldon and the revival of Roseanne.
