Discovery in Italy has ordered local adaptations of BBC Studios’ formats The Great Sewing Bee and This is MY House.

The six-part Italian version of sewing competition series The Great Sewing Bee will be produced locally by Blu Yazmine and is due to air on Discovery+ in June followed by Real Time in the autumn.

Originally produced by Love Productions for the BBC, the format has previously been licensed to markets including Spain, Portugal and Norway.

This is MY House invites four contestants each week to convince a panel of celebrity judges and the audience that they are in their home and not the home of the other three competitors.

In Italy, the format will be produced by Casta Diva and hosted by Drag Race Italia judge Tommaso Zorzi. This is MY House was first created by Richard Bacon and Nick Weidenfeld and produced by Expectation for BBC One.
