BBC1 renews Endemol Shine format

Singing competition format All Together Now

BBC1 in the UK has ordered a second season of Saturday primetime singing competition format All Together Now.

The show, which recently wrapped its first run on the UK pubcaster’s flagship channel, is produced by Remarkable Television, which is part of Endemol Shine UK.

The competition format plays out in front of a panel of 100 music experts and performers and the aim for each contestant is to get as many of them standing up and singing along as possible.

Endemol Shine Group will be showcasing the format at MipTV and MipFormats in Cannes next month, having recently secured a deal for an Australian version with Seven Network.

Kate Phillips, controller of entertainment commissioning, and commissioning editor Rachel Ashdown, ordered the second 6×60’ run for the BBC.
