BBC Two spotlights US, UK withdrawal from Afghanistan

NEWS BRIEF: BBC Two in the UK has commissioned Afghanistan: Getting Out, a 2×60’ documentary on the chaotic military withdrawal of the US and UK from Afghanistan produced by Zinc Media-owned Brook Lapping.

The series is distributed internationally by BBC Studios which has already sealed pre-sales to Histoire TV (France), VPRO (Netherlands), SVT (Sweden), NRK (Norway), DR (Denmark) and YLE (Finland). It was commissioned for BBC Two and BBC iPlayer by Gian Quaglieni and is exec produced by Greg Sanderson for Brook Lapping.
