BBC renews Mentorn pair

UK pubcaster the BBC has recommissioned two series, The Big Questions and Things Not to Say, from Tinopolis-owned UK production company Mentorn Media.

Nicky Campbell will return to host season 12 of BBC1’s The Big Questions (10×60′), starting in January 2019.

The Sunday morning programme, produced by Mentorn Scotland, will feature another series of ethical and moral debates.

BBC3 shortform series Things Not to Say (10×6′), meanwhile, will return for a sixth season next year. The show offers a platform for young people to share their unique experiences, allowing contributors to speak honestly and humorously about common misconceptions and stereotypes.

Both The Big Questions and Things Not to Say are executive produced by Nicolai Gentchev.

The Big Questions was commissioned by Fatima Salaria, BBC commissioning editor for religion and ethics, and Kate Ansell, assistant commissioner for daytime and early peak.

Things Not to Say was ordered by Damian Kavanagh, the outgoing controller of BBC3, while the commissioning editor for BBC3 is Nasfim Haque.
