NEWS BRIEF: BBC One in the UK has greenlit its daytime quiz format Bridge of Lies for a third season and ordered a second run of the celebrity version for its primetime schedules, both produced by Scotland’s STV Studios.

The 8×45’ celebrity primetime version and 25×45’ daytime series will air in 2024. Hosted by former EastEnders star Ross Kemp, the show sees teams of contestants competing for cash by crossing a bridge made up of stepping stones across the studio floor. Each has a different option, and the players must try to get from A to B by stepping on the truths and avoiding the lies.
