NEWS BRIEF: BBC Northern Ireland has commissioned factual series Hold the Front Page, which features journalists who have broken famous new stories.

Produced by Rare TV’s Belfast production hub, the 3×60’ series will also stream on BBC iPlayer. It goes behind-the-scenes of Roy Keane’s exit from Ireland’s 2002 football World Cup Squad; how reporters tracked down ‘canoe widow’ Anne Darwin after her husband John’s fake death scam; and details a scandalous affair involving Iris Robinson, the MP wife of Northern Ireland’s First Minister, Peter Robinson.
