BBC, Mindhouse doc hails Boybands Forever

Boybands Forever features performers including Robbie Williams

NEWS BRIEF: BBC Two is onboard a new 3×60’ documentary about boybands from Mindhouse Productions and BBC Popular Music TV, examining the inside story of boyband mania during the 1990s and 2000s.

Set to air in the autumn, Boybands Forever includes interviews with Robbie Williams, Brian McFadden, Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and others from the era. It was commissioned by Jonathan Rothery, head of popular music TV, the commissioning editor is Rachel Davies and the executive producers are Nancy Strang and Louis Theroux for Mindhouse.
