BBC Factual commissions new Stacey Dooley doc

Funeral service-based documentary Stacey Dooley: Inside the Undertakers (working title)

NEWS BRIEF: BBC Factual has commissioned Firecracker Films to make a new 1×60’ doc with presenter Stacey Dooley, in association with her Little Dooley production outfit.

Stacey Dooley: Inside the Undertakers (working title), for BBC One and iPlayer, follows Dooley as she immerses herself in the world of undertaking at Nottinghamshire-based firm AW Lymn – The Family Funeral Service. It was commissioned by Daisy Scalchi, BBC head of religion and ethics, out of the specialist factual department headed up by Jack Bootle. It will be distributed by Passion Distribution.
