NEWS BRIEF: BBC1 has ordered a sixth run of Red Planet Pictures’ hit primetime crime drama Death In Paradise.

The new 8×60′ run will see the return of the bumbling but brilliant DI Humphrey Goodman, played by Kris Marshall, as he solves crimes in the Caribbean. The show is a global seller for the pubcaster’s commercial arm BBC Worldwide and ends its fifth season today in the UK.
