Bavaria Media alum Bonney named head of TV sales at Global Screen, Weber departs

Former Bavaria Media executive Brianne Bonney has been named head of TV sales at Global Screen, the distribution arm of Germany’s Telepool.

The appointment is part of a reshuffle of the German company’s leadership team, following the departure of Julia Weber, the company’s former head of sales and acquisitions.

Bonney starts her new role on November 1 and will be based in Munich. She is charged with leading Global Screen’s sales across the company’s TV films and series portfolio.

Bonney will also lead TV sales, especially to English-speaking territories such as the UK, US and Canada. She joins from rival Bavaria Media, where she was senior sales manager.

Bonney also held the same position at Red Arrow International. Prior to that she served as sales director at both New Media Vision and Global Agency.
