Banijay unveils sales structure

European production and distribution group Banijay has unveiled the structure of its distribution team following its US$2.2bn buyout of Endemol Shine.

Former Endemol Shine International boss Cathy Payne joined Banijay Rights as CEO prior to the merger and is overseeing the amalgamation of the two distribution arms.

Headquartered in London, the team will also have sales representatives in offices around the world, including Paris, Moscow, Sydney, LA, Miami, Mumbai and Singapore.

Covering the sales business within the EMEA territories under the guidance of exec VP Tim Mutimer will be the following senior VPs: Chris Stewart, UK and Ireland; Claire Jago, Nordics; Matthew Hodges, German-speaking EMEA; Elliott Chalkley, Italy and Iberia; Alex Le Merle, Benelux; and Isabelle Queme, French-speaking EMEA.

Elsewhere in the region, Samia Moktar is VP, CEE and airlines; Marion Vergnaud is VP, Greece, Turkey, Romania and the Baltics; Robin Pollok is VP, Middle East, Israel and Africa; and Alexander Rubanov is VP Russia and CIS, with CEE support from sales manager Tatjana Kostovski.

Across social media and digital monetisation, the EMEA team is completed with the appointment of Shaun Keeble as VP, digital.

In Asia, Rashmi Bajpai has been confirmed as exec VP for the region. Senior VPs Daryl Kho and Kanchan Samtani will handle formats and finished tape in Asia respectively.

Lyle Bettson-Barker has been appointed senior VP, Australia and New Zealand, while Kell Hoddinott is VP in the same territory.

In Latin America, Veronique Verges is the senior VP covering finished tape, with Michelle Wasserman overseeing Lat Am formats. Lauren Farrar has been named VP for AVoD and US minor.

Matt Creasey, who was confirmed earlier this summer as exec VP of sales, acquisitions and coproductions, rest of world, will oversee all non-EMEA sales execs.

Managing incoming product, Simon Cox will take on the role of senior VP of acquisitions, working with Emily Elisha, who has been named VP of acquisitions.
