Banijay Rights launches dedicated FAST channel for animated classic Mr Bean

Mr Bean will be Banijay Rights’ 30th FAST channel

Banijay Rights, the distribution arm of European production giant Banijay, is launching a free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel dedicated to the animated children’s version of classic series Mr Bean.

The 24/7 Mr Bean FAST channel will comprise the first three seasons of the animated series, produced by Banijay-owned UK proco Tiger Aspect Kids & Family. It will launch across 29 territories on smart TV platforms Samsung TV Plus, LG, Plex, Rakuten TV and TCL this summer.

The UK, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, India, France, Italy, Spain, Brazil and Mexico are some of the countries that will receive the new channel, the company said.

The Mr Bean channel will be Banijay Rights’ 30^th FAST channel and comes after Warner Bros Discovery and ITVX in the UK commissioned a fourth season of the animated series earlier this year.
