Banijay Kids & Family has acquired UK drama company Kindle Entertainment and Italian prodco and animation studio Movimenti Production.

The prodco is behind a number of premium young-adult and family dramas, including limited series Little Darlings for Sky, teen mystery The A List for Netflix and family film trilogy Ivy & Bean, also for Netflix.

Movimenti Production, meanwhile, was founded in 2004 with bases in Milan, Florence and Rome. Led by CEOs Giorgio Scorza and Davide Rosio, the prodco produces animation for preschoolers, children and young adults.

Credits include kids’ series Topo Gigio for Rai and adult animation Tear Along the Dotted Line for Netflix.

Benoît Di Sabatino, CEO of Banijay Kids & Family, said: “Kindle Entertainment and Movimenti Production will be complimentary additions to the family, both bringing their own unique expertise, with consistent track records in delivering premium shows. This is a pivotal moment for Banijay Kids & Family, as we continue to grow our footprint and remain a key player in this competitive market.”
