Banijay France elevates Florence Fayard to CEO of Banijay Productions

Banijay France is continuing its executive reshuffles with the promotion of Florence Fayard to CEO of Banijay Productions.

Florence Fayard

Having served as MD since 2018, she will now take full oversight of the label. Under her leadership, Banijay Productions France has developed a slate of local and international hits, which includes The Fifty which launched in 2022 on W9.

The format, which was backed by Banijay’s Creative Fund, has secured a US Hispanic adaptation for Telemundo, and a German version with Prime Video for 2024 which will be available in Austria.

Meanwhile, Good Luck Guys, also created by the label, has sold to six markets including Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands for Prime Video.

Fayard worked at Endemol and Studio 89 before joining Banijay Productions France in 2009 as reality content director.

The promotion follows François de Brugada’s move to Banijay Events. Alongside his role as CEO of Banijay France, de Brugada previously oversaw Banijay Productions France.

The move comes after Banijay France recently unveiled its new management team, with Sébastien Petiot and Delphine Plantive taking up the positions of chief operating officer and director of editorial strategy and new business respectively.

It also recently appointed a new senior leadership at Fort Boyard producer Adventure Line Productions with Frédéric Lussato promoted to president and Julien Magne becoming MD.
