Banijay Asia partners with youth-skewing Indian esports outfit Nodwin Gaming

Banijay Asia has partnered with Nodwin Gaming to develop scripted and reality shows around gaming and youth culture in India.
The strategic partnership will see the companies co-develop new IPs in areas such as esports.
The first project is Playground, Nodwin Gaming’s flagship gaming reality show that explores gaming, entertainment and influencer culture in the region.
Banijay Asia will now scale the brand across multiple languages and markets, with the ambition of building an international format.
Nazara Technologies-owned Nodwin Gaming is a key player in televised esports and operates BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) tournament as well as Comic Con India and NH7 Weekender.

In related news, Banijay France has partnered with digital news platform Le Média Positif to co-develop documentary formats and shortform content together.
The agreement sees Banijay France and its factual label KM lend its production expertise to Le Média Positif, which has an online community of over seven million followers in France.
