The other two new ATCP members are Content Kings and Flicker Productions. They join Avalon, FirstLook TV, ITN Productions, Monster Films, Peninsula Television, Phoenix Television, Rare TV, Revelation Films, Title Role and Woodcut Media, which joined the ATCP in July.

The ATCP was launched this summer to establish best practice guidelines for the true crime genre in TV. Members sign up to a set of clear guidelines, which put victims and their families at the centre of the production process and aim to enhance current best practice in duty of care.

Tomorrow, the ATCP will launch its first webinar, which will be led by The Film & TV Charity and discuss the ‘whole picture toolkit,’ created to support people at all levels of production and help managers and senior creative leaders look after their team’s mental health and wellbeing.

ATCP committee member Gillian Carter, founder and chief operating officer of FirstLook TV, said: “Keeping up editorial and safeguarding standards is a process – vigilance is a constant need and our webinars are aimed at providing a framework for us all to understand what keeps us at the forefront of standards. Our first tackles mental wellbeing – that of our contributors and that of our colleagues.”
