Autentic names sales exec Julian Althaus to oversee FAST and YouTube channels arm

Producer and distributor Autentic in Germany is promoting distribution executive Julian Althaus to oversee its FAST channels division.

Althaus has been upped to director of channels and digital sales with responsibility for seven FAST channels, including Terra Mater WILD and Autentic History, as well as several YouTube channels such as Autentic Documentary.

Althaus has been part of the Autentic Distribution sales team for over 10 years and has played a key role in building and expanding its digital business.

In his new job, he will oversee the management and growth of the company’s channel activities and digital distribution. Additionally, he will continue to be responsible for global digital sales at Autentic Distribution.

Autentic has also appointed Thomas Handl as YouTube manager, starting in October. Handl previously oversaw YouTube operations at Studio 100 and Toon2Tango, a Leonine company, and was a content creator.
