Autentic factual attracts Curiosity, ORF

Asia – Secret Lives, Hidden Places S1-2 has gone to Curiosity Stream

MIPTV: US-based factual streamer Curiosity Stream is among a group of buyers that have acquired content packages from Beta Group-owned factual specialist Autentic Distribution.

Curiosity Stream has taken 20 hours spanning nature, science and history, including seasons one and two of Asia – Secret Lives, Hidden Places (10×45′) and two-part documentary Viking Women (2×52′).

Austrian pubcaster ORF has acquired over 25 hours of science and people programming, which includes doc The Seed of Greed (1×45’), wildlife film Masai Mara – The Big Hunt (1×52’) and Asia – Secret Lives, Hidden Places (10×45′, S1-S2) for its channels ORF and ORF III.

Elsewhere, Croatian pubcaster HRT has taken a 12-hour-package that includes three-part travel series Grand Tour de Suisse from doc.station. Additionally, A+E Italy and Germany have both acquired five hours of footballing documentaries, such as Adidas vs Puma (1×45’), produced by WDR.

In Asia, Thai pubcaster True Visions has picked up a 25-hour package, including Fascia: Secrets Under the Skin (1×52’) from doc.station and Ticket to the Future – The Evolution of Travel (1×52’) from Gruppe 5.
