Autentic Distribution’s Morlock Motors hits the road to Poland in Canal+ deal

Morlock Motors follows the restoration of unusual vehicles

Canal+ in Poland has picked up a 60-hour package of factual entertainment content from Germany’s Autentic Distribution, including vehicle restoration series Morlock Motors.

The 10×90’ series, produced by Spin TV Special Interest for German network Kabel Eins, follows German TV personality Michael Manousakis and his crew as they buy, restore and sell extraordinary vehicles, machines and military equipment sourced from around the world.

The programming bundle heading to Canal+ in Poland also includes all six seasons of military-themed relics series Metal Detective (30×60’), produced by Formasette for Discovery Italy, and all three seasons of documentary The Magical World of Spices (12×60’), produced by Moers Media for Arte and ZDF.

The Polish deal was announced by Autentic following its trip to Mipcom last week.

Other Cannes sales for the factual distributor include SBS in Australia picking up Secrets of Ancient Structures (6×60’, Go Button Media for Superchannel), while Italy’s Mediaset, SRF in Switzerland, Canal+ in Poland and Slovakia’s STVR have all acquired the latest season of adventure series Hot Roads – The World’s Most Dangerous Roads (22×60’). The show is made by Berlin Producers for Arte and ZDF.
