Autentic Distribution reveals 80-hour Mipcom slate of factual programming

Germany’s Autentic Distribution is to shop 80 hours of new factual content at next month’s Mipcom, with the slate spanning current affairs, historical, wildlife and science programming.

Current affairs content includes Still They Rise – Afghan Women Under the Taliban, a NZZ production about women pursuing education and work despite the regime’s restrictions, business doc Game Over: The Fall of Credit Suisse (Contrast Film), Surviving Globalism (Spiegel TV), and Cold War in Paradise – The Pacific Power Struggle (Berlin Producers).

Historical docs to be offered to buyers include Independence Dawn – The Forgotten Revolution (Go Button Media with Autentic Studios), which marks the 250th anniversary of the US Declaration of Independence, war doc Between Hitler and Stalin: Europe’s Darkest Years (Vincent Productions), The Jungle Hospital – The Myth of Albert and Helene Schweitzer (SMP Signed Media), Archaeological Treasures of Nigeria (SMP Signed Media), Antonio Salieri: Mastermind of Music (Clever Content, Autentic Studios), and Police Women: The Fight for Equality (Zeitsprung Pictures).

In Lifestyle, Autentic will offer My Holy Car – An Obsession Made in Germany (Hoferichter & Jacobs), about Germany’s enduring love affair with the automobile.
