Seven Network Oz, Israel’s Yes grab factual, format content from GRB Media Ranch

Courtroom series Relative Justice is fronted by Judge Rhonda Wills

Broadcasters Seven Network in Australia and Yes in Israel are among the latest buyers of factual content and formats from LA-based GRB Media Ranch.

Seven Network has licensed real-life murder mysteries series On the Case (124×60’), while Yes has picked up Magnolia’s Hope, a 1×60’ doc that follows a family across eight years as their child is diagnosed with Rett syndrome.

Elsewhere, OTT Studio in the US has picked up seasons one and two of court series Relative Justice, featuring Judge Rhonda Wills and totalling more than 300 episodes, while River Rock Films has optioned reality competition format 12 Star Hotel, in which 12 celebrities take over a real hotel with no outside help for two weeks.

In the UK, Discovery has renewed paranormal investigative series Death Walker for season two. In the 15-part series, Nick Groff investigates the origin of some of the most notorious hauntings in America.

GRB Media Ranch was formed last August after LA-based producer and distributor GRB Studios and Montreal-based distributor and formats incubator Media Ranch combined their distribution businesses.

“These agreements are representative of the reception we have gotten to the company’s continued acquisition of highly watchable content,” said Sophie Ferron, president of GRB Media Ranch.
