Melbourne-based Werner Film Productions optioned the rights to the book, which follows a man who finds out his perfect life and family may all be an illusion, setting him on a crusade to save what he loves and believes is real.

The comic book is authored by American comic book writer and screenwriter Adam Glass (Supernatural, Cold Case, Criminal Minds), with Louise Fox (Glitch) attached to write the adaptation and serve as showrunner.

Werner Films’ Joanna Werner and Stuart Menzies are executive producers alongside Jon Kramer, Carrie Stein and Lee Kramer for LA-based AfterShock Media.

AfterShock-owned US distribution company Rive Gauche Television will distribute the project worldwide.
