Australian drama adaptation Love Me travels to Viaplay, Israel’s Hot

Australian romantic drama Love Me

Viaplay and Hot in Israel are among the international streamers and broadcasters to have picked up Australian romantic drama Love Me from UK-based distributor DCD Rights.

Produced by Warner Bros International Television Australia Production for the Foxtel Group, the 6×60’ drama reveals how love can appear at the most inconvenient of times, as it does for Clara, Glen and Aaron, who find themselves at an emotional crossroads following an unexpected event that changes their lives forever.

Adapted from the hit Viaplay Original Älska mig created by Josephine Bornebusch, Love Me is directed by multi-award-winner Emma Freeman (Stateless, Glitch) and written by Alison Bell, Leon Ford, Adele Vuko and Blake Ayshford.

Love Me’s cast members include Hugo Weaving (The Lord of the Rings, The Matrix, Patrick Melrose), Bojana Novakovic (Birds of Prey, Operation Buffalo, Rake), William Lodder (Wakefield, Go Karts), Sarah Peirse (Sweet Tooth, Stateless, The Letdown) and Shalom Brune-Franklin (The Tourist, War of the Worlds, Line of Duty).

Along with Viaplay in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and the Netherlands, and Hot, the drama has been sold to: CBC in Canada for its streaming service CBC Gem; Acorn TV in the UK, Spain, Portugal and India; yes-DBS in Israel; and Pickbox in Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Bulgaria.
