Aussie prodco Lingo Pictures appoints Lisa Duff as acting general manager

Australian production company Lingo Pictures has appointed seasoned film and television producer and executive Lisa Duff to the role of acting general manager.

Lisa Duff

Duff takes the reigns at Lingo while current GM Tess Novak takes maternity leave. In 2022, ITV Studios acquired a majority stake in Lingo Pictures, which remains under the creative control  of its founders Helen Bowden and Jason Stephens.

The new role adds to Duff’s multi-tasking appointments as she continues in her recently appointed role of commercial executive with Oombarra Productions, the production company created by Leah Purcell and Bain Stewart, which Duff joined in October.

Duff was previously head of scripted at Perpetual Entertainment and prior to that served for over five years at Screen Australia as a senior investment manager. As a seasoned producer across 20 years in film and television, she has produced Sexing the Label for SBS and served as producer on feature film Last Cab to Darwin.
